Summary
editCoat of arms InfoField | English: the former municipality of Schafhof |
English: „Above a terrace in base, quarterly pily Argent and gules; azure, an armed Or sheep Argent.“
The sheep is a canting element. The colours are those of Bavaria. The base shows the arms of the Lords von Lichtenstein, as the village developed around a sheep station of the Hohenstein Castle, which in the 14th century belonged to the Lords of Lichtenstein. |
