DescriptionDEU Schmachtendorf COA.svg |
English: „Argent, an enté en point reduced gules charged with a spade Argent, accompanied from two juniper trees vert; in the chief a tricorne sable.“
The arms were drawn by Kurt Schweder. The arms show the typical plants in the area the common juniper. In 1762 the village was founded with toleration of the State of Prussia symbolised by the tricorne. The spade stands for the hard work of the first settlers who tried to get the bleak landscape fruitful. |
