Deutsch: Die Waage versinnbildlicht das seit 1323 beurkundete gräflich-wiedische Hochgericht in Urbach für die „Obere Grafschaft“ und das mit dem Gericht verbundene Marktrecht. Der Forsthaken ist das Symbol für den Märkerwald, gemeinsamer Besitz der fünf Gemeinden des Kirchspiels Urbach.
