Deutsch: In der Gestaltung des Wappens kommt zum Ausdruck, dass die heutige Gemeinde Vorbach 1978 aus den ehemaligen Gemeinden Vorbach und Oberbibrach gebildet wurde. Der steigende Biber stammt als für den Ortsnamen redende Figur aus dem 1958 angenommenen Gemeindewappen von Oberbibrach und erinnert an die im 14. Jahrhundert dort begüterte Familie der Kelner von Bibrach. Die Radnabe ist redendes Bild der Familie von Haidenaab, die im 16. Jahrhundert die von den Landgrafen von Leuchtenberg zu Lehen rührende Herrschaft Vorbach innehatte. Der blaue Zinnenbalken ist eine Kombination der Wappensymbole von zwei im Gemeindegebiet wichtigen Herrschaftsträgern, dem Kloster Speinshart (Zinnenturm) und den Landgrafen von Leuchtenberg (in Silber ein blauer Balken). Den ganzen Speinsharter Zinnenturm zeigte schon das Gemeindwappen von Oberbibrach, da das Kloster im Spätmittelalter den Sitz und die Grundherrschaft im Ort erworben hatte. |
