English: The U.S. Navy destroyer escorts USS Formoe (DE-58), left, and USS Foss (DE-59) under construction at the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Massachusetts (USA), on 20 January 1943. Formoe was transferred to the United Kingdom under the Lend lease act and was renamed HMS Calder (K349).
