The Phung Hung Old House has high wooden ceiling and large corridors represent the development of architecture and exchange among Asian architectural styles in Hoi An in the earlier centuries. It is made from unique woods and was a place where merchants got together and carried out their business. Hoi An, Vietnam

It dates back to mid 19th century and had distinct sections meant for various activities pertaining to trade - while three of them were dedicated to storing and sorting goods, selling, and book keeping, the fourth part was meant for leisure activities such as rest and recuperation, socializing and religious rituals. On the 29th of June 1993 the house was listed as a national historical vestige.
