Description
English: Comet aircraft, first in the Centenary Air Race (UK-Australia), displayed in Martin Place, Sydney, 1934. NSW Parliament and Sydney Hospital in the background. The aircraft is being rolled into Martin Place, which had recently been extended to Macquarie Street by the demolition of some buildings. The paving work had not been finished.
