English: DH No.2 at Larne Harbour - 1991 After official withdrawal in 1989, DH 2 and DH 3 were moved to Larne Harbour for engine removal. There they remained until 11 September 1994, when they were moved to Adelaide and eventually, with DH 1, taken by rail to Carrick-On-Suir for preservation by the Irish Traction Group. No's 2 & 3 have since been rebuilt and sold for industrial service in Sri Lanka. See also: D4102 : DH 3 at Larne Harbour - 1991. |
