On Friday, March 22, 2024 educators met at the LBJ Presidential Library to learn the science, history, and art of solar eclipses. Partnering with Dr. Keely Finkelstein and Lara Eakins at the University of Texas at Austin Department of Astronomy and Carlen Floyd at the Blanton Museum of Art, K-12 educators received a crash course in eclipse education. The special educational experience included a walking field trip to see the UT Astronomy department’s campus telescopes.
