Daewoo K2 rifle

US Marine Corps (USMC) Lance Corporal (LCPL) Anthony Bittle (background) assigned to the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (LARB) stands on top of his Light Armored Vehicle (LAV-25) and observes as Republic of Korea (KOR) Marine Corporal (CPL) Park Sung-Wo prepares to fire his Daewoo 5.56 mm K2 assault rifle, during training at Su Song Ri, Republic of Korea (KOR), while participating in the Amphibious Ready Group Exercise 2004 (ARGEX 04). The Exercise is jointly conducted between the USMC and the US Navy (USN) and the KOR, and is designed to familiarize each Unit with the techniques, tactics, and procedures associated with a Special Operations Capable (SOC) Unit.
