Description
English: Dafarn Hwyaid farmhouse, Rhosgoch Dafarn Hwyaid, a rather unusual name for a farmhouse, means "geese tavern". The name possibly dates from the period when drovers would move large flocks of geese to market and this house, or its predecessor, offered a night's lodging to the drovers and a safe place to corral their charges.
