Summary edit

Description
English: In 2017, UNESCO unanimously decided to make the Eritrean capital, Asmara, a World Heritage Site. The designation reflects Asmara’s early 20th century architecture, a modernist style that drew influences from Italian colonial rule. Asmara has been dubbed, “Little Rome.”
