English: Dalavich Post Office. Not long ago there was just the kirk and a handful of scattered houses at Dalavich, now it's a sizable village with several streets of houses built to house the workers in the great forestry plantations. Now forest work is more mechanised, and such grand socialist style projects out of fashion, it is no longer a "Forestry" village, but the forest is still an important employer. |
