Summary edit

Description Essentially now I start digging. Every summer I dig out the chanel that lead up to the damn beaver dam. I do this because during the fall when water levels are back up a lot more water can escape when the top is taken off. Hopefully this keeps the water level low before the ice comes. When we're up during winter I also let the dam go; one year I was able to get the winter water level so low that the vermin decided to evacuate. We had two years of beaverlessness... "Memories, misty water coloured memories..."
