Very early Darracq-Serpollet ''voiture de voyage'', probably built on a bus chassis

Summary

edit
Description
English: Capture of this Picture taken in January 1907 is misleading. The Darracq-Serpollet premises in Suresnes were not finished before Spring, 1907. Further, shown is not an open touring car or tourer, but a large, enclosed voiture de voyage. As Darracq-Serpollet didn't offer any passenger cars, this vehicle is probably built on a bus Chassis. While the last Gardner-Serpollet vehicles used a smootly rounded Radiator resembling the French Mors or the American White Steamer, the ne new Darracq-Serpollet got a canted Hood similar to the contemporary Darracq gasoline automobiles. The bonnet vovers not the engine, but the steam Boiler.
