Summary

edit
Description
English: Dassault Mirage IIIRS jet fighter displayed at the Museum of Aviation in Košice, Slovakia. Manufactured by the French aviation company Dassault Aviation S.A. between 1957 and 1992, the Mirage III was part of the inventory of many countries' air forces, including France, Switzerland, Spain, Israel, Lebanon, Pakistan, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa and Australia. The RS variant of the Mirage III was a purpose-built Swiss version of the Mirage IIIR reconnaissance variant and served with the Swiss Air Force. The preserved specimen shown here is a former Swiss Air Force reconnaissance Dassault Mirage IIIRS (note the RS code for the export variant used by the Swiss Air Force). Swiss Mirage III jets were retired in 1999 and 2003, with the IIIRS variant retired in 2003, along with the IIIDS and IIIBS variants.
Slovenčina: Prúdová stíhačka Dassault Mirage IIIRS vystavená v Múzeu letectva v Košiciach, Slovensko. Vyrábaná francúzskou spoločnosťou Dassault Aviation S.A. v rokoch 1957-1992, Mirage III bola súčasťou vzdušných síl mnohých krajín, vrátane Francúzska, Švajčiarska, Španielska, Izraelu, Libanonu, Pakistanu, Venezuely, Brazílie, Argentíny, Juhoafrickej republiky a Austrálie. Variant RS stíhačky Mirage III bol na mieru stavanou švajčiarskou verziou prieskumného variantu Mirage IIIR a slúžil vo Vzdušných silách Švajčiarska. Tu vystavený zachovaný exemplár je bývalý prieskumný Dassault Mirage IIIRS švajčiarskych vzdušných síl (všimnite si označenie RS pre exportný variant používaný švajčiarskymi vzdušnými silami). Švajčiarske stíhačky Mirage III boli vyradené zo služby v roku 1999 a 2003, pričom variant IIIRS bol vyradený zo služby v roku 2003, spolu s variantmi IIIDS a IIIBS.
