Description
The experts at Bruun Rasmussen assumed that this was the painting exhibited at Charlottenborg in 1851 as En snigpatrouille. It shows Danish soldiers on a silent patrol near Dybbøl in the First Schleswig War. They also stated that a similarly titled painting is part of the collection of the museum at Frederiksborg.
