Samuel Davis, Colonel Leicestershire Volunteers died 4th November 1897 and of his son, Edgar Crofts Davis, Lieutenant 1st Leicestershire Regiment died 17th November 1896. These figures of St Michael the Archangle and SS George and Alby. Soldiers of Christ are dedicated A.D. 1897
