Description

This photograph shows one of the more unusual items seized by @wmpolice... a fully functioning mini cannon!

The item was seized by officers after they discovered the miniature model, approximately 10 inches in length, had a working firing mechanism that makes it a firearm under current regulations.

Although this item was never created to hurt anyone, it was still seized due to it being a working weapon.

Police officers and specially trained firearms officers are working 24/7 to remove more obvious firearms from the streets of the West Midlands and we remain committed to further reducing serious violent crime.
