Deutsch: de Forest Audion Schaltung
English: Circuit of one of the first vacuum tube radio receivers, invented by Lee De Forest in 1907, the inventor of the first amplifying vacuum tube, the Audion, from his 1907 patent. This is a grid-leak receiver, using a single Audion tube which both amplifies the radio signal and rectifies it, extracting the modulation (audio signal) from the radio frequency carrier wave.
