Description
Nederlands: Moissac - Tarn-et-Garonne, Midi-Pyrénées - Abdijkerk Saint-Pierre, van oorsprong een Karolingische kerk die dateert uit de IXe eeuw. De marmeren sarcofaag stamt uit de IVe eeuw en werd in de XIIIe eeuw herbruikt als laatste rustplaats voor een abt van het klooster. De tombe steunt op twee vroegchristelijke kapitelen.
Français : Moissac - Tarn-et-Garonne, Midi-Pyrénées, France - Église abbatiale Saint-Pierre, édifice d' origine carolingien (IXe siècle). Le sarcophage en marbre (haut moyen âge - IVe siècle) a été remployé au XIIIe siécle pour recevoir la dépouille d'un abbé du cloître. La cuve repose sur deux chapiteaux paléochrétiens.
