Description

c/n C1/0661 Built in 1952 for the Royal Air Force with the British military serial WP772. Served with No.17 Reserve Flying School, Hull University Air Squadron and Queen’s University Air Squadron before being transferred to the Army Air Corps in January 1960. She then operated with the Basic Fixed Wing Flight at Middle Wallop until written off after a heavy landing in May 1990. She was initially stored at St Athan but eventually joined the museum here during 1999. She has now been painted in the markings of No.1 Air Experience Flight, Royal Air Force, which was based here at RAF Manston between 1963 and 1995. RAF Manston History Museum Manston, Kent, UK
