Description
English: An open truck pictured in European mine in 1550's was used to haul heavier loads from the longest tunnels. Trucks (or dogs) had two iron axles (C), wooden rollers (D) and a hefty iron pin (F) running in a groove to keep the truck from leaving the beaten track. This type of truck is considered to be an earliest recorded narrow gauge railroad.
