A Torrubella spp. parastic fungus is using the spiders body tissue to reproduce. It bursts out at the seams of the chiten.. The spider is forced to climb to a high exposed place. Mycellae break through its feet to glue it in place as it dies. Air currents carry its fungal spores onto other spiders that will share its fate.
