Description

The Mercury and Air Toxics Standards rules is a great victory for public health -- especially for the health of children.

The standards will help prevent 130,000 cases of childhood asthma symptoms and about 6,300 fewer cases of acute bronchitis a month children each year.

Administrator Jackson addressed a gathering of public health experts, representatives from industry, and families and children at the Mercury and Air Toxics event in Washington, D.C. at the Children's National Medical Center -- Children's Research Institute Atrium.
