Description: This photograph is of Boigu Island Warriors, with their Bow and arrows. One man is holding a sword and several men are wearing woven arm protectors. Three men have drums, which means that this might be dance, depicting a battle.

Boigu Island (also known as Malu Kiyay or Malu Kiwai) is the most northerly inhabited island of Queensland, Australia and in the top-western group of the Torres Strait Islands. The language spoken is Kalau Kawau Ya, (also known as Kalaw Kawaw, KKY).
