Description
English: Design for a Cruciform. Pen and black ink, 6.8 × 5 cm, British Museum. Holbein may have designed this pattern for a jeweller to use. Such crosses were worn suspended from the ring at the top. The design includes four pearls on the inner corners of the arms (Foister, p. 132).
