English: Soldiers from the 65th Military Police Company secured the road out Stublina as units from the 82nd Engineer Battalion began their search in the early morning fog. KFOR soldiers carried out a carefully planned and orchestrated operation on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, to search and confiscate illegal weapons at five separate locations near the Serbian border. A total of 22 crates of ammunition, hand grenades, mines, rifles, other explosives, and chemical protective masks were found. KFOR is the NATO-led, international military force in Kosovo on the peacekeeping mission known as Operation Joint Guardian. |
