Description
English: U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Robert Dacker establishes communication as a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter waits near the Iraqi- Syrian border on Nov. 18, 2004. The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Marines and sailors are inspecting the forts along the Iraqi-Syrian border to assess the condition of the forts under construction. Dacker is assigned to 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment.
