English: A U.S. Marine Corps ambulance drives off the deck of a U.S. Navy Landing Craft, Utility into the well deck of the USS Ashland (LSD 48) as the ship sits alongside the pier in Kuwait City, Kuwait, March 3, 1998. The Ashland is loading equipment as part of a force augmentation in Southwest Asia. The Ashland is homeported in Little Creek, Va.
