Description
English: Two U.S. Marines try to collapse a billowing cargo parachute at Landing Zone Albatross, Camp Lejeune, N.C., on March 23, 1998. The cargo was dropped from a helicopter during a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation for the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. The evaluation is designed to assess the overall readiness skills of an infantry battalion.
