Description
English: U.S. Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, speaks during a Purple Heart award presentation ceremony for Sgt. Randy Brown, Warrior Transition Battalion, Fort Carson, Colo., March 10, 2008. Brown was injured by an improvised explosive device while on patrol in Iraq in March 2006. While injured, Brown pulled his platoon and team leaders out of their burning Humvees.
