Summary edit

Description

In this photo of the steer that has just been dehorned, the string is used as a sort of tourniquet to stop the horns from bleeding. In this instance, the string was not tight enough and after cutting off the horns, the animal continued to bleed to much as is obvious in the photo. So, we have to catch the steer again and shove the stick between the head and string to apply greater pressure on the horns to stop the bleeding.
