Description
English: The Chiefs of Navies/ Heads of Maritime Agencies, International Liaison Officers from IFC-IOR and delegates from diplomatic corp visited SCI Sabarmati which houses Indian Navy's Deep Submergence Rescue Vessel DSRV, at Mormugao Port, Goa. The delegation was hosted by FOCINC WNC and were briefed on capabilities and salient features of the DSRV, which very few countries in the world operate. Earlier, an expression of interest for 'Submarine Rescue Mechanism for IOR', was deliberated during Goa Maritime Conclave 2021 GMC2021.
