Voorstelling: Het eerste station in Delft stond op het meest noordelijke deel van de Houttuinen tegenover de Binnenwatersloot. Het pand werd ontworpen door M.C.J. Piepers en gebouwd door de Haagse aannemer J.B. Maxwill. Op 24 augustus 1846 werd de eerste steen gelegd, en een jaar later kon het gebouw in gebruik worden genomen. De ligging van het station bleek na enkele decennia ongunstig te zijn, waarop besloten werd een nieuw station aan de Van Leeuwenhoeksingel te bouwen. Nadat dit in 1885 gereed was gekomen, werd het oude station afgebroken.
