Summary edit

Description

This 757 has an unusual registration. It was built in 1997 for TWA, before joining the American Airlines fleet upon American's acquisition of TWA. American eventually disposed of the TWA 757 fleet, most of which went on to fly for Delta; this one, owned by ILFC, joined the Delta fleet in 2008.

TWA specified eight full exit doors (unlike six doors and four window exits used by both American and Delta) for its 757 fleet. TWA also specified Pratt & Whitney PW2000-series engines, unlike the Rolls-Royce RB211-series engines used by American.
