Svenska: Medalj av brons.Åtsida: fregatt i hamn med småbåtar, i bakgrunden stad, omskrift nertill: "KALMAR NYCKEL", årtal upptill: 1638.Frånsida, omskrift: "TERCENTENARY CELEBRATION 1638-1938", i mitten text: "IN HONOR // OF DELAWARES // 1ST SETTLEMENT // BY THE SWEDES". Otydlig stämpel nertill: ".OBBIN...".Upptill bred bygel, däri fäst dubbelvikt band till hälften ljusblått, till hälften gult, tryckt guldtext: "TERCENTENARY // 1638 + 1938 // GUEST". Bandet upptill fäst vid spänne, profilerad överkant, nertill blåemaljerad, rektangulär platta med gul text: "DELAWARE", därovanför reliefbild, nybyggarfamilj i 1600-talsdräkter, t.h. stad med kyrka, i bakgrunden molnformation och däröver stad med skyskrapor och en uppåtgående sol.På spännets baksida fastlött säkerhetsnål samt nål för fästning av banden, stämplar: "ROBBINS CO // ATTIEBORO // MASS". På bandspännet bakom det blågula bandet och medaljen fäst sidenband, randat rött-vitt-blått, tvåtungad, ofållad bandände. Bägge banden ensidiga med ljusare och strävare baksida.
