Title
English: Denny cabin on the east side of the Cascades, ca. 1910
Description
English: In the late 1800s and early 1900s, David Denny and other members of the Denny family mined for gold near Gold Creek, Washington, just east of Snoqualmie Pass.

Sometime during the 1910s, Lawrence Denny Lindsley, professional photographer and grandson of David Denny, took this photograph of his uncle, Victor W.S. Denny and another man at a log cabin near their Gold Creek claims. Denny (seated) is pointing towards the nearby mountain. According to Lindsley, his uncle had just spotted a mountain goat.
