English: Departure of the "Maria Lena" Although not designated as a fishery harbour there are a number of fishing boats based at Bangor while others land their catches there. There is quite a bit of activity involved in harvesting the mussel beds of Belfast Lough. One of the mussel dredgers, the Maria Lena, is seen departing for another days work. [By coincidence there are also a number of mussel dredgers based at the other Bangor (north Wales)]. |
