Notes Traces of 2 pairs of ties. Title in red. Vellum flap extends over fore edge. Macchi states; bound in 1585 in Saxony by Caspar Meuser (C. Schmidt, Jakob Krause, pl. 74, 1 st line, 1 st Meuser panel-stamp, Saxony, 13 compartments). A very similar example is owned by the Landesbibliothek, Dresden on Bericht. Wie die Tabeln in Beschickung der Golder auff Rheinisch Gulden zu 18 Karatt 6 gren goldt haltend. Und der Zursatz mit Weiss oder Roth, gebraucht werden sollen, ms. about 1585, shelfmark Mscr. J 354 (Deutsche Bucheinbände der Renaissance, n. 89). The same panel-stamp was tooled in blind on Johannes Claius, Grammatica Germanicae Linguae, Leipzig, Hans Rambau, 1578, Berlin, National Library, shelfmark Y 3931 (Deutsche Bucheinbände der Renaissance, n. 89).
