DescriptionDesastres Naturales.jpg	Español: Según un reciente informe de la coordinadora residente del Sistema de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), Rebeca Arias, anualmente el Perú pierde $73 millones por los desastres naturales, lo que en 30 años suma casi $2200 millones a la economía nacional. Afirmó que para reducir la vulnerabilidad se requiere de instrumentos de prevención, como el ordenamiento del territorio, sistemas de alerta temprana, mantenimiento de la cobertura vegetal, una mejor institucionalidad local y la construcción de infraestructura apropiada. Para este año, el gobierno destinó S/.708 millones del Presupuesto Nacional para la prevención de riesgos por desastres naturales.
