Title: Desk, writing Description: writing desk Made from maple wood, velvet, brass, mother of pearl, and glass. A writing desk made from maple veneer with a hinged lid the opens out flat to create a sloped writing desk. The desk has a lock with a mother of pearl inlay around the lock and also a mother of pearl in the shape of a crest on the top of the desk when closed. The desk has a crimson red velvet lining for a writing surface. At the top of the opened desk is multiple compartments for the glass ink wells and small compartments with lids and mother of pearl handles.
