Description The U.S. Navy radar picket destroyer USS Ernest G. Small (DDR-838) and the destroyer USS Black (DD-666) underway off the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) during a Change of Command ceremony. Aboard the aircraft carrier, Captain G.C. Bullard was relieved by Captain R.P. Kline on 28 November 1962. Bon Homme Richard, with assigned Carrier Air Group 19 (CVG-19), was deployed to the Western Pacific from 12 July 1962 to 11 February 1963.
