Summary

Description
English: Casa del Gavilan was a private residence built around 1911-1916, on the edge of what is now the Philmont Scout Ranch, a national training and retreat center for teenage scouts in Northern New Mexico. The striking 100-ft. wide edifice has been operated for several years as an inn, priding itself on its unusual design, its gorgeous natural setting, and the quietness and solitude to be found in this remote location.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 100001882.
