Description
English: Contrary to the title of the photo, this is the William Hicks Building on Piccadilly, Bradford. The plaque at the top has as its central feature a bird that I would assume to be an eagle rather than a pigeon. Around it the words “scribite, scientes, litera, scripta, mamet”. The date is 1871. This was the History and Scientific Institute.
