Temple of the famous Devithan in the heart of Kuchkuche Intermediate Community Forest in Chitwan district. The area of this temple is very wide and in a peaceful environment and it is a Nepali style temple. There is a Devithan in the sanctum of the temple. The temple complex has a clean garden, a bench for the devotees, and a wooden tower to view the outside of the temple makes the temple look very attractive. About 8 km from Sauraha, a tourist spot in Nepal. This temple is on the east side. Regarding the temple, the local residents are a brave Gurud. While going to collect grass and firewood in the forest, he felt a desire to cook basmati rice while he was cooking under a dudhakhiri plant, and when he came home, he saw the goddess dwelling in a dream the same night, and even while looking at Zhankri Guru, he saw that the goddess resided in that place. In recent times, under the leadership of Gunj Bahadur, Devithan Temple was built and arranged. Local elders say that the Devithan temple, located in the middle of a dense forest, has divine powers. Devotees visit this temple from far and wide. According to Krishna Choudhary, coordinator of Khagendramalli Consumer Committee and Chairman of Devithan Temple Management Committee, Chitwan Rashtriya Nikunj Central Area, this temple is more than 70 years old. Especially this temple is highly respected by the local Tharu communities. A special pooja is performed in this temple on the day of Chaitra Navami. There is also a popular belief that they will be the children of those who do not have children, and wild animals also make a vow in this temple that they will not cause any kind of suffering. Chowdhury says that there is a tradition of giving different kinds of vows after fulfilling one's wishes. There is also a river of water coming from the bank of this temple which is also considered as a religious river. |
