English: Around 1909, M.S. Brigham opened his Cadillac dealership on Pike Street in Seattle. About that time, someone snapped this photo of his son, Dexter, sitting behind the wheel of one of his father's new cars. By that time, many streets inside the Seattle city limits were paved with brick.
