Description
English: El primer domingo de Agosto se celebra en Gijon esta fiesta -Dia de Asturias en Gijon- en la que se realiza una jira desde la Plaza Mayor hasta el Cerro de Sta Catalina. Grupos de bailes folcloricos, bandas de gaitas y tambores, portadores del "ramu" de panes para su posterior subasta ( en asturiano "puxa") y multitud de gentes forman una serpiente multicolor que se dirige hasta el cerro para disfrutar de lo que aqui llamamos una "fiesta de prau".
