De: Das Haus war früher das Missionshaus in Anyako. Während des Angloaschantischen Krieges 1869-1874 wurde es zu großen Teilen zerstört. Als die Missionsstation Anyako kurze Zeit später aufgegeben wurde, hat der im Jahre 1890 verstorbene Missionar Schroeder das Haus abtragen lassen und, unter vielen Mühen aller Beteiligten, den Transport des Materials nach Keta organisiert. Hier wurde das Haus wiederaufgebaut und diente anschließend als Diakonissenhaus.
