Description
Deutsch: Steinriegellandschaft in Tauberfranken. Früher wurden auch Hanglagen zum Ackerbau genutzt. Die Steine in der Ackerkrume wurden gesammelt und in Steinriegeln geschichtet. Das diente der Ertragssicherung, Der Schonung der Pfluggeräte und auch der Besitzanzeige.
Flurbereinigung, Beseitigung von Steinriegeln und Hecken schufen große Flächen, die die motorisiert rentabel bewirtschaftet werden konnten (im Bild hinten).
